'Calm Before The Storm' - glass artwork

Calm Before the Storm is a serene fused glass artwork that will bring a little coastal serenity into your home. Inspired by the vivid colours of the sea and sky before a coastal storm the artwork pairs stunning turquoise glass with a cool, calm deep grey. The glass has been sprinkled with a blush of pink glass powder and iridescent glass flakes adding warmth and a subtle sparkle. After firing in the kiln, the artwork is finished with screen-printed designs including soaring gulls and swaying coastal grasses.  

This artwork reflects the transient essence of the coast from calm to dramatic, mirroring life's ebbs and flows.
