Meet Wendy.....

From my coastal studio's in Wareham and Lulworth Cove village on the Dorset coast I create uplifting semi abstract seascape and landscape art inspired by the coastal colours, light and sense of space of the ever - changing stunning landscape of my home village of Lulworth Cove and the surrounding area such as Durdle Door, Mupe Bay and the beaches at Studland.

I paint the feeling of a place, be it tranquillity or vibrancy, capturing a little of the coasts awe and wonder.

I have worked as an artist for over 25 years since graduating with a 1st class degree from Edinburgh College of Art, then receiving the prestigious Crafts Council Start Up Award to set up my studio. My draw to connecting to nature has always been at the core of my work.

When Im not in the studio I will generally be found near, in or on the sea (often with my small dog in toe). My life is sprinkled with lots of yoga, breath work, stargazing, moon manifesting, reading, car singing (badly) and dancing like Im still in my 20's!. Im passionate about living a creative, calm, joyful and fulfilled life and I absolutely love guiding others to do the same at workshops and retreats.
